An Artistic Interpretation of the ASV Conference

by Bernard K. Means

I returned yesterday from the annual meeting of the Archeological Society of Virginia (ASV) at Natural Bridge, Virginia. There, I and four Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) students along with colleagues from Germanna Archaeology and the Virginia Museum of Natural History presented a poster session on Virginia Archaeology (as detailed here).

One of the VCU students, Isabel Griffin, is in the VCU School of the Arts and her notes on the conference and the field trip are works of art themselves. I thought conference attendees and others might be interested, especially some of whom are depicted.
