the Virtual Curation Laboratory Open House

On Wednesday, October 26, 2011, Project VCU-RAMS opened the Virtual Curation Laboratory to the public and held its official Open House! Visitors of the Open House enjoyed festive refreshments and lively conversation as well as Sir-Scans-a-lot in action.  Dr. Means and Clinton were able to set up a webcam inside the noise-removal privacy box on top of Sir-Scans-a-lot so that visitors could see what was happening inside the box AND experience the crisp 3-D images that were loading on our computer.

The VCU-RAMS team was pleasantly surprised to have more visitors attend the Open House than originally expected. It just shows that all of Project VCU-RAMS’ hard work is paying off and we’re having a lot of fun showing it off!
